Monitoring


We offer 24-hour monitoring for our commercial fire alarm and security customers through Alarm Center, Inc., located in Lacey, Washington. The Alarm Center is fully UL-listed, and has provided us with excellent service over the years. For critical facilities, we also offer backup monitoring at our main office.

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide two phone lines for their fire system or one line for their security system. Most jurisdictions require that the first phone line on the fire alarm communicator be a dedicated line. The backup line can usually be shared with a fax machine, security system, etc. In addition to standard phone-line based monitoring, we also offer ScanAlert®, ScanAlarm®, cell-phone, radio-frequency and internet monitoring technologies.

Unlike many companies in the fire and security industry, our business does not depend on monitoring revenue. Rather we offer these services for our customers to provide a “one call does it all” service. We also provide monitoring for elevators, access control systems, CCTV-activated alarms and process control, among others.
